Fizzr

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Fizzr ("Fizzr", "we", "us") helps you write better messages on dating and messaging apps. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We designed Fizzr to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Content you give us to work on

When you ask Fizzr for help, the conversation text you paste, type, or import, any optional context you have saved (your "About Me" notes, a short summary of your learned writing style, and notes you keep about a match), and — if you use photo ranking — the profile photos you choose to submit, are sent to our servers to generate a response. The app asks for your permission before any of this is sent, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Data.

This content is processed on our behalf by third-party AI model providers solely to produce that response. We currently use DeepInfra (which hosts the DeepSeek models we use for text suggestions and the Qwen model we use for photo analysis) and Anthropic (whose Claude models we can route photo analysis to). This content is processed transiently and is not stored on our servers after the response is returned. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and our providers do not use it to train their models.

Some processing happens entirely on your device and never reaches us: reading text from a screenshot (OCR), transcribing voice notes to text, and learning your writing style. The screenshot images and voice audio themselves are never uploaded — only text you then choose to send — and the style samples stay on your device, where you can inspect or erase them at any time in the app.

A device identifier

To keep the service secure and enforce fair-use limits without accounts or passwords, your device is issued an attestation-based identifier. It is tied to your device, not to your name, email, or Apple ID.

Usage metadata

We record limited technical metadata about each request — the type of request, which model ran, how long it took, and whether it succeeded — for reliability, abuse prevention, and enforcing daily limits. This metadata never includes your message text, photos, or voice content.

Subscription status

If you subscribe to Fizzr Pro, Apple processes your payment. We receive a transaction identifier and your subscription status from Apple so we can unlock Pro. We never receive your card or payment details.

How we use what we collect

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to advertise to you.

Who else is involved

We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: cloud infrastructure hosting, DeepInfra (which hosts the DeepSeek models used for text suggestions and the Qwen model used for photo analysis), Anthropic (which provides the Claude models, used for photo analysis when we route it there), and Apple (for payments and device attestation). Each provider processes your content only to deliver their service to us and may not use it for anything else — including training their models. We choose providers whose terms provide protections equivalent to this policy, and our own servers do not store your content after the response is returned. We may change AI providers as the technology moves; this page names whoever is in use.

How long we keep it

Your choices

Children

Fizzr is intended for adults and is rated 17+. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required in their country.

Security & international processing

All traffic to our servers is encrypted in transit. Because we use cloud providers, data may be processed in countries other than yours; we rely on our providers' safeguards for such transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
